The Office for Family Independence (OFI) has a current vacancy in Central Office Augusta.
Job Duties
Following USDA guidance for SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) reviews, this time-limited (through Sept. 30, 2013) position will work with the Food Supplement Program Manager and staff from NERO to develop a plan for SNAP Ed delivery in Maine, and secure approval of this plan by USDA NERO (North East Regional Office). This position will be responsible for securing contract implementation with the SNAP Ed vendor and will conduct a complete review of agents for SNAP Ed, utilizing tools from the plan and USDA guidance. Responsibilities include providing program administrative support, RFP development, review of contracts, financial records, and overseeing service delivery functions and outcomes. Additionally, this position will be responsible for securing contract implementation for the selected SNAP-Ed evaluation vendor and work with this vendor to develop an independent review process of SNAP-Ed results. This position will also work with the Food Supplement Program Manager on other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
In order to qualify, you must have six (6) years of education and/or professional experience in social services program development/delivery, or social services related fiscal/budget administration/analysis work.
