Public Hearing for School Administration Reform Legislation

AUGUSTA ¬¬¬–The Legislature’s Appropriations and Financial Services Committee and the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee will hold a joint public hearing on the school administration consolidation proposals February 5th at the Augusta Civic Center.
Proposed Legislation will be presented by sponsors beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by public comment period from 10:30 a.m. to 8 pm. Testimony is on a first come, first serve basis and limited to 3 minutes per person. Those who testify at the public hearing are asked to submit 40 copies of their written comments at the hearing. The public may also submit comments by e-mail at: schooladmin@legislature.maine.gov.
