| Preliminary Analysis: | Certificate of Need (22 M.R.S.A. Section 339(3)) requires that a notice of the availability of the analysis must be published in a newspaper in general circulation in Kennebec County and a newspaper of general circulation serving the area in which the project is to be located and on the department's publicly accessible site on the internet. |
| Closing of the Record: |
Certificate of Need (22 M.R.S.A Section 335(6)) requires that a notice of the closing of the record be published in a newspaper in general circulation in Kennebec County and a newspaper of general circulation serving the area in which the project is to be located and on the department's publicly accessible site on the internet. The record will be closed 10 days after this notice is published. A determination regarding issuance of a Certificate of Need will be made by the Commissioner of the Department of Human Services on or before 2007-07-05, unless the review period is extended as provided for in the regulations. The review process consists of an evaluation of the application itself, material collected or developed by the Department to test the assertions made in the application, any comments received by any person regarding the project and any other material made part of the record.
