Event Description:

The Breathe Easy Coalition of Maine hopes that you will be able to join us on Thursday, July 26th from 11:30-2:30pm for this free event being held at the Rines Auditorium at the Portland Public Library. In addition to providing updates and seeking your input on the initiatives of BEC and its programs, the Smoke-Free Housing Coalition of Maine, Maine Tobacco-Free Hospital Network and Maine Tobacco-Free College Network, we are excited to welcome Dr. Jonathan Winickoff, a researcher and pediatrician from Massachusetts General Hospital as our speaker. Dr. Winickoff has published multiple studies on the emerging health issue of thirdhand smoke and will be providing insight on this topic at our meeting.

Who Should Attend:

Public Health Professionals, including Healthy Maine Partnerships and others working to address exposure to tobacco smoke through policy change and education.
