Reading Your Christmas Present

In anticipation of many people receiving new E-Readers for Christmas the Maine State Library is scheduling a series of drop-in workshops on using the devices to read books from the library. The session will cover installing the Overdrive software needed to use the Maine Download library, and finding books in the library catalog.
“There are dozens of e-readers on the market and each has its own quirks. While we may not know your particular device we do know enough to puzzle through the process together.” said Michele Brann who will be leading these workshops.
Workshops will last 1 hour and will be held in the Library computer lab on the 2nd floor
Thursdays: January 3, 10, 17, 24 at 9:30 am Tuesdays: January 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 5:00 pm
