Winter in Aroostook County

My name is Erin Thompson and I lived in Maine for 21 years. I lived in the small town of Oakfield in Aroostook County. I married a guy in the Air Force so I ended up moving to Georgia and away from my family. Every year around christmas time we drive home to Maine to spend with family and friends for a couple of weeks. Each time I go home I remember all the good times I had while I lived there. The one thing I miss about the winter time is the snow, since Georgia doesn't get any snow at all. We now have a little girl who's 15 months old, and now when we go home to Maine she'll get to enjoy all the fun things I got to enjoy when I was her age. I've got to say living any other place than Maine has no comparison what so ever. Maine has got to be the best place to live and to grow up in.
