Training plans: With interoperability so simple now, is there a concern with training for the new system? Users must be able to use radios quickly and effectively, especially during a “big” event.

Training is provided under the provisions of the State contract with the systems integrator, Harris Corporation. While the radios may have more capability, usability may be even simpler, such as the ability to roam without having to make manual frequency changes from tower to tower.
