Connecting to RegionNet: How will local partners communicate with the Maine State Police (MSP) through RegionNet?

In essence, much the same as it would be done today. Once the interoperability channel such as RegionNet is programmed to the existing local partner radio and the user keys up on the channel, a dispatcher at the RCC (regional communications center) will hear the communication and establish a connection to the other entity. Also a MSP trooper scanning RegionNet will receive the communication and can connect directly to the local partner.
