Active Integration of Technology in Physical Education
Date: Spring 2013
Facilitator(s): Jim Wells & Tim Hart, MLTI Integration MentorsLocation: Regional
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Using the MLTI laptops, students can monitor, evaluate and enhance their progress in physical education. From using the cameras to capture and evaluate their performance, applying statistical analysis to chart their progress and creating collaborative groups to support fitness programs, there is great potential for the application of technology to help students meet learning goals in physical education. This will be an active, hands-on workshop that will provide many ideas for utilizing technology in a physical education program, and will develop a network for sharing and learning from other PE teachers.
