Every teacher, at any grade level or in any content area, faces the challenge of teaching vocabulary. In this workshop we will discuss the research behind what works in vocabulary instruction and share strategies and practices for helping students expand their word knowledge. Participants will have the opportunity to practice using software and online digital tools for vocabulary instruction and explore ways to build a culture of word consciousness in their classrooms.

Please bring your MLTI device (charged). Lunch will be on your own. If you do arrive with a beverage please ensure it is in a reclosable container.
