Please join us and your colleagues from across the state for the 5th Bright Futures Webinar on April 6th at 3:00 p.m. This session's topics are School Climate and Organizational Practices that Support Young Adolescents.
Our special guests will be staff and students from Biddeford Middle School who will be sharing their school-wide initiative to become the "Kindest School in Maine". We will also have staff from Warsaw Middle School in Pittsfield who will relate how they have successfully implemented the FISH Philosophy across their school's culture. Our final guest will be Dr. Gert Nesin, teacher at Leonard Middle School in Old Town. She will be sharing her extensive experiences with effective teacher teaming and it's impact on student learning as well as collegial relationships.
Participants need a computer and a phone that can take a call back without going through voice mail or other extension system. To view additional Bright Futures Professional Development opportunities or to view recordings of previous webinars, please visit http://www.maine.gov/education
