MacBook Case Repairs/Bulk Dispatch Form

Published:March 15, 2010

This communication is directed to MLTI Technical Leads and MLTI Technology Support Staff:

Hello,
In an effort to clarify what is and is not considered a warranty-covered MacBook case repair, we would like to share with you the following guidelines;

- The cracked or splintered area should be along the top case edge below the left or right palm rest or corner (where the top case meets the bottom case).
- There should be no signs that the computer may have been dropped or accidentally damaged.

If you are unsure about the warranty status of an event, please dispatch the device to the MLTI Depot for review.

Additionally, if you have any questions or specific concerns, please escalate by either calling the MLTI AppleCare Help Desk or submitting a feedback form within DepotWorks.

Your feedback is important to us and helps us address concerns, streamline processes, and identify areas of improvement.

Based on your feedback, we will be making the bulk dispatch form available on April 1st, to help folks get a head start on any repair backlog well in advance of the end of the school year.

We hope this helps and we will continue to work together to enhance the MLTI experience.

Thank you,

MLTI Team
