November 12th Webcast: Making Meaning with Phil Brookhouse

There is still time to register for Thursday's (November 12th) webcast: Making Meaning facilitated by Phil Brookhouse. As stated in the title, the focus of this week’s webinar will be Making Meaning. In particular, Phil will be zooming in on “Representing Reality – Models and Simulations.” Rationales and examples of different models and simulations in social studies and science will be examined. Two guests will be joining us from the Foundation for Blood Research. Dr. Walter Allan and Jeri Erickson will talk about how they worked to make meaning with Maine Explorer – an application and curriculum about ecological models.
