2010-2011 MLTI Software Image - Conference Call
MLTI would like to hear suggestions for the next MLTI software image, and we have set up a conference call to hear from Teachers and other interested parties. Please think about the current image and what you would like to enhance, change, or remove, and bring your notes to the call. If you are unable to make it to the call, please email your suggestions to mlti.project@maine.gov and we will include them in the decision-making process.

Teacher Leaders 2009 - 2010 (forms due by November 14, 2009)
Teacher Leader paperwork for 2009 - 2010 is now available on our website at http://www.maine.gov/mlti/tl/ or in Studywiz (207 Teacher Leaders).
The main role of the MLTI Teacher Leader is to continue being the voice of the faculty as schools continue to move forward and learn about how to most effectively leverage the tools and opportunities that technology offers. This year's MLTI Teacher Leader stipend requirements are detailed on the Teacher Leader Information Sheet. Please take time to review these requirements with your Leadership team before sending in a signed agreement form.
Action Plans from 2009 Fall Meeting
The Fall Meeting NoteShare Notebook is now available for download at http://maine.gov/mlti/forms. As we indicated at the meeting, we included all the Action Plans created during the morning activity. We hope that your action plan has been useful to your school. As this was a timed group activity, please note that some Action Plans may be incomplete as presented.
Acceptable Use Policy
All schools are required to maintain an Acceptable Use Policy. All users should be made aware of the local school AUP. Schools should determine if the district/school's AUP requires additional policies related to MLTI, particulary responsibilities of the user when the device is used outside the school environment. All participating schools must post their AUP on the school or district’s web site. The URL to the AUP should be on file with the MLTI Project Office and will be posted at http://www.maine.gov/mlti/aup. Please send a link to your school's AUP to the MLTI Project office at mlti.project@maine.gov.
Webcasts
In addition to traditional face-to-face gatherings, MLTI staff will also be using web-based technologies to communicate and collaborate with educators interested in engaging in conversation around teaching and learning with technology. These WebCast events will provide an opportunity to participate interactively in a live virtual environment, all right from the comfort of your own computer desktop.
WebCasts will be held each Thursday at both 3:15 pm and 7:15 pm. To view the full schedule of WebCasts and find a link to registration, please visit: http://maine121.org/webcasts/.
Thank you
The MLTI Team
