Dashboard (widgets) application is disabled by default

Apple’s Dashboard application is turned off and disabled for all users by default. Dashboard widgets are applications which run in the background using both processing cycles and battery power. In order to help maintain adequate battery life and performance, the Department disables Dashboard by default.

Schools may optionally enable the Dashboard application with the EnableDashBoard package included on the MLTI device in the admin user’s MyApps folder. This package is also found in the Extras folder of the MLTI 1to1 Restore Drive.
