Description:
If you build, take care of or enjoy recreational trails, this FREE workshop may change the way you look at trails. After a light lunch (included) and brief indoor presentation, participants will head out to the beautiful Bond Brook Recreation Area (BBRA), located in the heart of Augusta between the State Airport and Bond Brook itself. Facilitators will use BBRA’s unique combination of hiking, biking and ski trails as a working laboratory to demonstrate the three most important aspects of trail construction and maintenance; drainage, Drainage, and DRAINAGE!
Attendance is limited to 20 people. Preregistration is required! Please contact Wendy Somes, Buker Community Center, (207) 626-2350 or wendy.somes@augustamaine.gov to pre-register, get directions to Maine Instrument Flight, or for more information.
