Manpower is recruiting for Deputy Judicial Marshals to provide entry screening and court room security in courts in York & Cumberland County. Monday through Friday schedule ranging up to 40 hours per week. In this role you will provide for the safety and security of judges and justices, court staff, jurors, witnesses, other court participants, and the general public. Deputy Judicial Marshals work in an environment often charged with intense emotion and conflict and must be able to move quickly and effectively from observation of routine activity to direct physical contact and confrontation. Deputy Judicial Marshals provide the first line of defense for the court system when assigned to the duties of entry screening. Must be able to travel and work in different locations within your assigned county (mileage and tolls reimbursed when applicable).

Qualified applicants will have previous law enforcement experience, and must furnish State of Maine Law Enforcement Pre-Service Training certificate. This is a great opportunity for a retired or current law enforcement professional looking to supplement their income! No weekends and no evenings! Uniform reimbursement provided!
