Superintendent Mila Kofman has announced that the Bureau of Insurance will conduct a consumer outreach meeting on Wednesday, November 18th, in Madawaska. The session will raise awareness about the Bureau’s resources and offer assistance to consumers who have insurance questions or cases.
The meeting will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Madawaska Forever Young Club, located at the corner of 11th and Main Streets. The session will offer an overview of the Bureau’s services and ample time for questions. Additionally, staff members will assist individual consumers with their specific cases. A similar outreach meeting was held in Presque Isle on August 12th.
Superintendent Kofman is encouraging people with insurance questions or cases to attend the November 18th event. She noted that consumers can also contact the Bureau of Insurance by calling 1-800-300-5000 or obtain information online at www.maine.gov/insurance.
