Maine Bureau of Insurance to Conduct Consumer Outreach Session in Waterville

Augusta, Maine -

Maine’s Bureau of Insurance will conduct a Consumer Outreach Session in Waterville to assist people with insurance cases and to raise awareness about the Bureau’s services and resources. The Waterville session is part of a summer outreach initiative conducted by insurance experts from the Bureau.

Superintendent Mila Kofman invites the public and media to join Bureau staff at the Waterville City Council Chambers on Thursday, September 16, from 5-7 pm. The session will include an overview of the Bureau’s services and ample time for questions. Additionally, staff members will help individual consumers with their specific cases.

Superintendent Kofman noted that those unable to attend the September 16th event in Waterville can obtain insurance information and assistance by visiting the Bureau’s offices in Gardiner, going online to www.maine.gov/insurance, or calling the Bureau’s toll-free number 1-800-300-5000.
