Rep. Miller honored for voting record on environmental bills

AUGUSTA – The Maine League of Conservation Voters recently praised state Rep. Lisa Miller, D-Somerville, for her voting record in favor of bills that will have a positive impact on the environment. Miller scored a perfect 100 percent rating for the 2008 legislative session.

Miller scored high marks for her support of new laws that will create greater energy efficiency and less dependence on foreign oil, reduce carbon emissions in the Northeast, ban chemicals from household products that are dangerous to children, expand conservation efforts through Land for Maine’s Future and prevent shoreline deforestation and invasive plant infestations.
