AUGUSTA – Rep. Lori Fowle, D-Vassalboro, and Sen. Chris Johnson, D-Lincoln, will host a community forum on Wednesday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m. The forum, which will take place at the Windsor Town Hall, will focus on the governor’s proposed two-year budget.
“I’m looking forward to listening to members of the community, getting their feedback and taking their questions on the governor’s proposed budget for the next two years,” Fowle said. “Each line of this budget affects every one of us in some way, and having plenty of input from voters will help all of us in Augusta find common ground and arrive at a commonsense solution.”
“It is important that people understand the impacts of the proposed budget,” Johnson said. “We need to share information and get ideas from community leaders and voters.”
Fowle is serving her first term in the Legislature and represents Windsor, Vassalboro and part of Augusta. Johnson is serving his second term in the Senate and represents District 20 in the Midcoast region.
