Michael Hersey

Director, Boards and Commissions

Michael Hersey serves as the Director of Boards and Commissions. The Director of Boards and Commissions develops and operates the organizational and procedural structure for gubernatorial appointments to nearly 400 boards and commissions.

Hersey has worked in sales and sales management for more than twenty years, most recently WABI TV5. Previously Hersey had worked as an Advertising Manager for the Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel.

Active in his community, Hersey is a past Chair of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce and received the 2009 Volunteer of the Year award from the Maine State Chamber of Commerce.

Hersey holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Business from Husson University.
