Wiscasset Bridge Project to Begin
Wiscasset – Work to replace the bridge wearing surface and joints on the Donald E. Davey Bridge in Wiscasset begins on Friday, April 26th.
For the duration of this work, there will be two 11 ft. 6 inch lanes of traffic from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and one lane of alternating one-way traffic between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
While work may occur both during the day and nighttime hours, no work will be allowed on Sundays between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wide loads will be restricted.
We know this essential structural work may be inconvenient, so travelers should allow extra time or seek alternate routes.
It is anticipated that all work will be completed by mid-June.
