Inspection to Start on Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge

Deer Isle – The bi-annual NBIS (National Bridge Inspection Standards) bridge inspection on the Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge will start on Monday, April 29th.

This bridge, on the Deer Isle-Sedgwick town line, will include alternating one-way traffic with flaggers to assist motorists.

Travelers should expect slight delays.

Weather permitting, the inspection, performed by TransSystems of Boston, will be completed by the end of May.
