Bridge Rehabilitation in Abbot
Abbot – Rehabilitation work is underway on the Page-Carr Bridge in Abbot at the Routes 6 & 15 intersection. This work includes installing a new concrete deck and wearing surface, and replacing the bearings and bridge joints. In addition, scour measures are being put into place for the piers and abutments.
Traffic will be maintained using flaggers with one lane of alternating two-way traffic. Jersey barriers will be installed and temporary traffic lights will assist motorists.
This $1.3 million project, performed by T-Buck Construction of Auburn, is anticipated to be completed by mid-November.
