US Route 1 in Stockton Springs To Close Overnight
Stockton Springs – US Route 1 in Stockton Springs will be closed, both northerly and southerly, on Wednesday, August 29th starting at 6 p.m. Crews will be setting steel beams in place for the Church Street Bridge until 5 a.m. on Thursday, August 30th.
While local traffic will be allowed thru the work zone, all other motorists traveling north will be guided by detour signs using Main Street through the downtown. Southerly traffic will be assisted by flaggers in an alternating one-way traffic pattern. The detour for both directions is approximately one-quarter mile
