I-295 Bridge in Portland-Falmouth Reduced To One Lane

Portland/Falmouth – A steel bridge joint repair is currently underway on the Presumscot River Bridge on the Portland-Falmouth town line at mile marker nine. MaineDOT crews will be reducing traffic over the bridge to one lane southbound beginning at 3pm as repair work begins.

Crews will be replacing the steel joint and surrounding concrete.

Crews anticipate traffic will be back open to two lanes around midnight tonight.
