Accident on I-295 in Portland Detours Traffic

Portland – Traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 295 in Portland is at a standstill at the site of a tractor trailer crash near the Congress Street overpass. The northbound lanes have been blocked, so motorists are being detoured at Exit 4 in South Portland to Route 1 over the Veterans Bridge. Motorists should avoid that area until the crash site has been cleared.
