News Release for April 23, 2012 Bridges Closed Due To FloodingAugusta – MaineDOT crews have closed 4 bridges and monitor others in various areas of the state as heavy rainfall and flooding may cause erosion. Bridges that are currently closed include: • The town of Clinton: Baker Street/Hinckley Road Bridge • The town of Clinton: Route 100 Bridge • The town of Kingfield: West Kingfield Road • The town of Washington: Route 105 Farrah Bridge Areas that are being closely monitored for bridge closures include: • Alfred • Augusta • Clinton • Princeton • Rangeley Plantation Updates as they happen can be found on MaineDOT’s 511 webpage at: http://www.511maine.gov/ If you are traveling, or planning to travel in the vicinity of the areas mentioned, please log on to http://www.511maine.gov/ for continuous updates. ### |
