Brunswick Intersection Work Starts Monday, October 24

Brunswick, Maine – Safety improvements and pedestrian enhancements at the intersection at Maine St. and Route 24 in Brunswick will begin on Monday, October 24. Contractor H.C Crooker and Sons will have message boards to alert motorists of potential delays due to drainage work and tree stump removal. Crews will also be removing the Spanish Square War Memorial for re location. Work is expected to be completed for the season in mid to late November, 2011. In April of 2012, crews will return to install a traffic island.
