Southbound exit ramps in Howland and Lincoln to close temporarily next week
Motorists who utilize the I-95 southbound ramps at exit 217 in Howland and exit 227 in Lincoln need to be aware of upcoming closures next week in order for the ramps to be paved.
Exit 217 on I-95 southbound in Howland will be closed for pavement removal from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8. The ramp will be closed again from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, for paving.
Exit 227 on I-95 southbound in Lincoln will be closed for pavement removal from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7. The ramp will be closed again from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9, for paving.
Paving operations are weather-dependent and the above schedule could change due to the weather. Variable message signs near the exits are alerting motorists to the upcoming closure dates. If the paving schedule changes due to weather, the variable message boards will alert motorists to the new dates.
