Parking: Parking located on side and back of building and on State Street

Directions:

From Portland and points South: Take Maine Turnpike to first Augusta exit; easterly on Western Avenue (Route. 202). Go through fast food and mall areas until you reach the rotary circle. Go 2/3rds of the way around the rotary and at that point the courthouse will be on your right; a low brick building. Enter the rear parking lot or continue to spill off the circle and enter the front parking lot.

From Lewiston and points West: Take Rts. 202 and 17 in an Easterly direction. Both turn into Western Avenue (Route. 202) and directions are as above in Portland and points South from that point.

From Waterville, Bangor and points North: Take highway to Augusta. Go beyond the Civic Center exits; at the next set of exits, take the second exit. It winds around until you reach a fork. Keep to the right and proceed onto Western Avenue. Proceed on Western Avenue until coming to the rotary. Stay in the left lane and enter the rotary and take the third exit off the rotary. You will immediately see a fork in the road and go left. District Court is directly in front of you. Low brick building with parking lot in back of the building.

From Brunswick, Gardiner, Wiscasset: Take Route 201 through Gardiner in a Northerly direction along the river to Augusta. Go half way around the rotary--Courthouse is a low brick building on your right at that point.

From Rockland-Belfast area and points East: Head East on Routes 3 or 17. From Intersection of Routes 3 and 201 and 100, turn South to the East side rotary going through the bridge approach. Cross Memorial Bridge to West Side rotary. 1/4 of the way around the rotary, the courthouse will be the low brick building on your right.

Route 17: at the intersection of Routes 17 and 9, head in a Northerly direction to East side rotary, go 3/4ths of the way around, the courthouse will be the low brick building on your right.
