Become familiar with additional tools to use in conducting a successful job search. Topics include: utilizing O*Net and the Maine Employment Info Guide to obtain information about average wages for specific occupations, employment trends, job openings in Maine, categories of employers, and the knowledge, skills and abilities required for different jobs; and preparing yourself to successfully answer some of the most commonly asked interview questions by using skills statements to promote the qualifications you have which directly match what the employer needs. Also, the video “Common Mistakes People Make in Interviews” will be shown.
