Career Decision Making Workshop--Reemployment Assistance Session 2

Sessions to be held Wednesday afternoons: 1 to 4 pm on the following dates: October 21st & 28th; November 4th, TUESDAY, NOV. 10TH, November 18th and 25th; December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

Description

Broaden your horizons to new ideas in career decision making by doing your own personalized interest survey. This will help expand your knowledge of the possibilities for employment/training that you might not have thought of before. This workshop will also recommend some starting points to access the local labor market. You will become familiar with additional tools to use in conducting a successful job search. Topics include: utilizing O*Net and the Maine Employment Info Guide to obtain information about average wages for specific occupations, employment trends, job openings in Maine, categories of employers, and the knowledge, skills and abilities required for different jobs. Space is limited--please pre-register.
