Read and Write Gold v. 8.0 Reading Text on Web Pages
Exercise 4:
Text can be read aloud within the Internet Explorer using the Web Highlighting feature located on the Read and Write Gold floating toolbar.
1.) Click the Play Speech Button drop down list on the toolbar and make sure the Web Highlighting option has a tick beside it.
2.) Open the Internet Browser and type: www.texthelp.com into the Address field to display the Texthelp homepage. (Or you can type in any other web address).
3.) Hover the mouse over an area of text until you see it highlighted. You will hear the text read aloud. You can also use the other Speech buttons on the toolbar to stop, pause or read the previous or next paragraphs.
