
Applesauce
- 3 pounds Maine Apples
- sugar to taste
- cinnamon to taste
- Quarter the apples. Do not core or peel them.
- Add 1 cup of water to prepared apples. Bring to a boil.
- Simmer until soft.
- Drain apples in a sieve over a bowl.
- Push the apples through the sieve to make the applesauce.
- Add sugar and cinnamon to taste.
This is a great recipe for kids; use a food mill to make the applesauce.
Makes 6, 3/4 cup servings.
