MDOL Goals Discussed at December ELT Meeting

1. Provide accurate and timely benefits to unemployed workers and facilitate their reemployment.

2. Increase employment opportunities for Maine residents.

3. Improve knowledge, skills and abilities, promote lifelong learning and support the independence of Maine residents.

4. Ensure safe and fair treatment of all people on the job.

5. Supply Maine businesses and industries with information and resources and connect them with a qualified workforce.

6. Ensure efficient and effective management of Departmental systems and resources by providing leadership and supplying relevant information that drives policy and facilitates goal attainment.
