New Lottery Game is Three Times More Fun!June 25, 2005 Maine State Lottery Director Dan Gwadosky announced today that the Lottery has launched a new game called Tri-State Triple Play which will replace the Heads or Tails game. Triple Play tickets went on sale Sunday, June 26th and the first drawing will be held on Tuesday, June 28th. Gwadosky explained that, “Tri-State Triple Play tickets cost $2 each. Players
may pick 5 numbers from a field of 1 through 45 or may choose “Easy Pick”. According to Lottery officials, this year the Lottery will return $130 million dollars back to Mainers in prize winnings. An additional $15 million dollars in commissions is paid annually to more than 1400 Lottery agents across the state.
