1:30pm         The Maine Readiness for College, Career and Citizenship Campaign

The Maine Readiness Campaign is one aspect of the $1.9M grant to the Department of Education to support high school reform efforts in Maine.  The grant is funded by the Gates Foundation, and administered through the National Governors Association.  The Readiness Campaign will involve several significant public engagement efforts, including a statewide media campaign, regional leadership trainings and community mobilization and assistance.  The Task Force is uniquely positioned to contribute to and strengthen the “3rd C” of this work.
