Training & Examination Information

We offer a training schedule that provides adequate opportunity to attend courses with minimal inconvenience. We do not require anyone to attend all of the training sessions that we offer. The courses are offered on a rotating schedule that allows sufficient opportunity for individuals to earn the required recertification credits within a five year cycle.

The CEO Training and Certification Program will make every effort to accomplish this schedule as planned, however many factors affect our ability to provide all of these sessions on the exact schedule. Therefore, this must be considered a tentative schedule. Approximately five weeks prior to a given training session, a detailed announcement will be sent to those on our mailing list. The registration form must be completed and returned in order for you to be registered. Please follow the instructions provided in the mailing to ensure your registration.

Individuals new to the Program should contact the Office for information on how to obtain introductory training. You may refer to the list of training materials in the Information Booklet. In the following schedule, a few activities are listed that are of interest to CEOs, but are not sponsored by SPO. If you would like to sit for an examination you must pre-register.

On the schedule below, we are now posting links to training sessions sponsored by other agencies/professional groups for which CEOs/LPIs can get recertification credits. If it is not training sponsored by SPO, please be sure to register with the appropriate training sponsor.
