Secretary Gwadosky to Visit Polling Sites Election Day

Augusta--On November 6th Secretary of State Dan A. Gwadosky will continue his Election Day tradition of visiting a number of polling places to thank election workers for their dedication in conducting Maine's elections.

"I look forward to meeting with some of the many people who work tirelessly at the polls on Election Day and thanking them for their efforts," said Secretary Gwadosky. "I hope that everyone will participate in the November 6, 2001 Referendum Election," continued Secretary Gwadosky. "While voting is always important, in these troubled times casting a ballot is a particularly effective way to give voice to our democracy and the strength of our nation."
