For Immediate Release Secretary Gwadosky to Visit Polling Sites Election Day Augusta--On June 11th Secretary of State Dan A. Gwadosky will continue his Election Day tradition of visiting a number of polling places to thank election workers for their dedication in conducting Maine's elections. "I hope that everyone will take the time to cast a ballot on June 11th," stated Secretary Gwadosky. "Although the June election is traditionally a day for selecting party candidates, this year two bond issues will also be decided and anyone who is registered to vote, regardless of party affiliation, may cast a referendum ballot." "I am looking forward to meeting with some of the many people who work tirelessly at the polls on Election Day and thanking them for their efforts," said Secretary Gwadosky.
