CHAPTER 13 (New): Alternative Therapies

PURPOSE: To clarify the professional responsibilities of those osteopathic physicians who utilize alternative therapies in their treatment of patients.

CHAPTER 15 (New): Disruptive Conduct
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 M.R.S.A. 2562 & 2581
PURPOSE: To establish policy and guidelines regarding the identification of circumstances which indicate that the behavior of a physician or physician assistant toward a patient or others is considered disruptive to patient care and
therefore unprofessional conduct.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Spring/Summer 2006

CHAPTER 2: Physician Assistants (amendments to existing rule)
