STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 35-A MRSA §2503 (16) & 23 MRSA §52
PURPOSE: This Rule will define how the Department of Transportation
will permit and regulate the location of utility facilities within the
limits of state and state-aid highway corridors.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: October-December, 2001; effective date 01/01/2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Any person or other entity seeking a permit for the
location or alteration of utility facilities within a state or state-aid
highway.
