RULE-MAKING ACTIVITY:
CHAPTER 2:
REGISTRATION OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS
STATUTORY AUTHORITY: 32 M.R.S.A. Section 1306
PURPOSE: This chapter contains provisions relating to registration requirements
and exemptions for Engineers and Engineer-Interns, fees and examinations.
They will be amended to allow the use of seals and signatures by electronic
means.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: January through March 2002.
AFFECTED PARTIES: Professional Engineers registered by this Board.
CONSENUS-BASED RULE DEVELOPMENT: not contemplated.
