Driving Instructions to Branch Locations
Augusta Branch 19 Anthony Avenue TEL #287-3330
North bound on I-95.
Take exit 112B (Augusta/Belgrade - route 8 N/ Route 11 N/ Route 27 N) and a slight right onto Civic Center Drive. Turn left onto Darin Drive (just past the Irving gas station). Turn left onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles is on the left.
South Bound on I-95.
Take exit 112 (Belgrade - Route 11/Route 27/Route 8) and a slight right onto Civic Center Drive. Turn left onto Darin Drive (just past the Irving gas station). Turn left onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles is on the left.
From Midcoast/Rockland Area.
Take Route 17 to Augusta. Take right onto Stone Street be in the left hand lane. At Rotary (Cony Circle) take the 3rd exit onto Cony Street. Go across Father Curran Bridge and straight through the traffic light where Cony Street becomes Bridge Street. At the traffic light at the top of the hill take a right onto ME 11/ME 27/ME 8. Turn left onto Darin Drive (just past the Irving gas station). Turn left onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles is on the left.
North on Route 201 through Gardiner/Hallowell.
Take Route 201/State Street into Augusta. At rotary take 2nd exit onto ME 104 N. Stay straight to go onto Water Street/ME 104. Turn left onto Bond Street. Turn right onto ME 11/ME 27/ME 8/Mt. Vernon Avenue. Continue to follow ME 11/ME 27/ME 8. Turn left onto Darin Drive. Turn left onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles is on the left.
North on Route 9/Hospital Street.
Go through light at the intersection of Route 9 and 17 onto Stone Street. At Rotary (Cony Circle) take the 3rd exit onto Cony Street. Follow ME 11/ME 27/ME 8 into Augusta. Turn right onto Darin Drive. Turn left onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles is on the left.
East on Route 202/Western Ave.
Follow Route 202 into Augusta, you will be on Western Ave. Turn onto Old Winthrop Road. Turn slight left onto Leighton Road. Turn right onto Anthony Avenue. Motor Vehicles will be on your right just past the Department of Health and Human Services.
Bangor 1129 Union Street, Bangor Airport Mall TEL #942-1319
From the intersection of I-95 take the Union Street Exit (Route 222) in Bangor; take a left off ramp. Go West 1.4 miles to the Airport Mall. The BMV Office is towards the back side of the Mall.

Coming from the North.
Take Route 1 south. The BMV Office is located on the right, 4.45 miles from the intersection of Route 9 and Route 1.
Coming from the South.
Take Route 1 north. Turn left off Main Street/Route 1 onto North Street/Route 1 in Calais . BMV Office is located 1.18 miles on the left on North Street/Route 1.

Coming from Route 1.
Go straight through the light at the intersection of Main and High St. Take the first left onto Church St and the office is located at the end of the street next to the Congregational Church.
Coming from Route 3.
Take left at light onto State Street, 1st right onto Church Street, BMV is on left next to the Congregational Church.
Coming from Route 1A (Bangor Rd).
Take right before the intersection of Main and High St. At the end of the street the office is located next to the Congregational Church.

From South of Kennebunk
Using Route 1 North to Kennebunk, drive North into the town of Kennebunk until you see a Dunkin Donuts sign on your right followed by a traffic light. Go through light and BMV is located on the right immediately following the Irving Station.
From the North using Route 1.
After entering Kennebunk town line (a little bridge indicates the town line between Arundel & Kennebunk) go though two traffic lights (Ross Road light and Stop & Shop light) - continue south on Route 1 and BMV is located one block from the second traffic light on the left. It is a tan multi-business building with BMV sign in front of the building.
Using I-95 Turnpike
Take the Kennebunk Exit #25 (Old Exit #3).
After exiting at Exit #25 Take a left from the off ramp and a subsequent left one block up onto Fletcher Street. Stay on Fletcher until you come to Route 1,
(downtown Kennebunk). Take a left turn onto Route 1 North. Look for the Dunkin Donuts and traffic light that follows. Immediately after you go through the light you will pass an Irving Station on the right and BMV is the next tan building on the right. Bureau of Motor Vehicle Sign is posted.
Using the I-95 Turnpike from the North.
Take Exit 25 and a left off the ramp onto Fletcher Street - follow Fletcher Street until it forks left and right - stay on the left fork until it intersects Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 North and look for a Dunkin Donuts sign on your right. Follow through a traffic light and immediately after an Irving Station on your right is the Motor Vehicle office. The building is tan and houses a dentist as well. Signs are posted to reflect the location.

Connect to Route 202 (aka Main Street) in Lewiston.
Travel north on Route 202 for approx. 2.5 miles from downtown Lewiston. They will reach a traffic light just before a train trestle. Turn right at this light into the Business Park (there is a large business sign at this light that says Lewiston Fairgrounds) at Mollison Way. We are on the left at 36 Mollison Way and share the building with the Workers Comp Board.
From the north.
Travel south on Rt. 202 and takes a left at light after the train trestle.

From Augusta.
Take Route 202 to Winthrop, then Route133 to Livermore Falls, Route140 through Jay heading towards Canton. Before reaching Canton take the Canton Point Road towards Dixfield (that cutoff road is approx 7 miles long), at the flashing red light stay straight on Route 2 through the Town of Dixfield heading towards Mexico. BMV is in the center of town in the Mexico Shopping Plaza off Route 2.

From north on I-295.
Take the Washington Avenue exit. After crossing the bridge on the exit ramp, bear an immediate right, which leads to the intersection of Washington Avenue and Veranda Street. Turn left onto Washington Avenue. At the first light, take a right onto Presumpscot Street (1/10 of a mile). BMV is on the right. It is a brick building located adjacent to Presumpscot school and is in the same building as Easter Seals.
From south on I-295
Take the Washington Avenue exit. At the second light turn right onto Presumpscot Street (2/10 of a mile). BMV is located directly adjacent to Presumpscot school and is in the same building as Easter Seals.
Rockland 212 New County Road, RT 1 TEL #596-2255
From Route 1 North:
Turn right at McDonald's in Rockland, take the Rt. 1A bypass across Broadway to the Route 1 intersection. Turn right at traffic light, you will be on Route 1 south. After crossing the Rockland/ Thomaston town line BMV is on the right side of the street (look for a white building with green shutters) with a sign at the entrance. Just before the Flagstaff Cinema.
From Route 1 South:
Go through the town of Thomaston, past Dragon Cement and several car dealers. On the left is the Flagstaff Cinema, the BMV Office is the next building on the same side of the road.
South Portland 704 Maine Mall TEL #822-0730
I-95 turnpike.
Take Exit 45 to Maine Mall Road. BMV is behind Macy's, between Macy's and Filene's.
From I-295.
Take Exit 1 to Maine Mall Road. BMV is behind Macy's, between Macy's and Filene's.
Springvale 456 Main Street TEL#490-1261
From Exit 32 (Biddeford).
Take a right, stay on main road until you get to Route 224. At the John Deere take a right at that light. Go straight until you pass a brick housing complex, take the first left after the complex, go to the street light, take a right, BMV is on the right just down from the Rite Aid store, across from the Springvale Courthouse.
From Route 202.
Take Route 11A to Route 109. You will pass the Springvale Fire Station on your left; at the street light take a left. BMV IS at the opposite end of the Rite Aid store across from the Springvale Courthouse.
From Limington Area.
Take Route 11 through Shapleigh to Route 109. Take a left and stay on Route 109 until you pass the Springvale Library and the Springvale Courthouse which will be on your right. BMV is across the street from the Courthouse.
From Exit 19.
Take a right and stay on Route 109 for 14.5 miles. BMV is at the opposite end of the Rite Aid store, across the street from the Springvale Courthouse.

North bound on Interstate 295.
Take the Topsham Exit 31, right off the off ramp and a right at the first traffic light.
South bound on Interstate 295.
Take Topsham/Brunswick Exit 31A, take right off ramp and right at first traffic light.
From Bath on Route 1.
Take Topsham Exit onto Route 196 - Inter Coastal Connector straight through 4 sets of traffic lights heading towards Lisbon, take left at 5th traffic light.
