Your suspension notice will tell you if you are eligible for a hearing and how to request one.

Hearings for demerit point suspensions may be scheduled for a telephone appointment by calling the Hearings Section at the telephone or TTY number shown above. Hearings for demerit point suspensions are also conducted on a walk-in basis every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the main office in Augusta.

All other hearing requests should be submitted in writing to the Hearings Section at the address shown above. Please include your name, date of birth, daytime telephone number, current mailing address, driver license or history number, and a brief statement regarding what you are requesting the hearing on.
