The Maine Motor Vehicle Franchise Board held hearings in the matter of Darling's v. Ford Motor Company (M.M.V.Bd 06-01) on December 18 and 19, 2007, at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Augusta , Maine

Chairman John McCurry called the hearings to order at 8:30 a.m.


Roll Call:

Present: John McCurry, Bill Dowling, “Bud” Morrison, William Sowles John Knight.


Judy Metcalf, Esq., was present representing Darlings and was accompanied by John Darling; Daniel Rosenthal, Esq., was present to represent Ford.

On December 18, 2007 , John Darling, Roland Francis and Ernest Tyler, CPA testified on behalf of Darling's. Counsel argued Ford's Motion for Summary Judgment; the Board deliberated, voted and denied the motion.  The hearing adjourned at 4:27 P.M.

On December 19, 2007 , Mike Auletto, and Marc Powers, CPA, CVA testified for Ford and Ernest Tyler testified in rebuttal.  The hearing adjourned at 3:12 P.M.
