Pay Grade: 23 ($17.24 - $23.33)
Value of State-paid Health and Dental Insurance:
100% State Contribution (employee pays nothing): $377.46 biweekly (Health: $363.77/Dental: $13.69)
95% State Contribution (employee pays 5%): $359.27 biweekly (Health: $345.58/Dental: $13.69)
90% State Contribution (employee pays 10%): $341.08 biweekly (Health: $327.39/Denta:l $13.69)
85% State Contribution (employee pays 15%) $322.89 biweekly (Health: $309.20/Dental: $13.69)

This is professional services work in the administration of the statewide motorcycle rider education program for the Department of Secretary of State, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Motorcycle Rider Education Program. Responsibilities include: training and evaluating motorcycle rider education instructors who provide third party-testing for BMV, administration of a quality assurance program to ensure all Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), Rider Education Recognition Program requirements are being met, monitoring and evaluating the delivery of the MSF Basic RiderCourse, BasicRider Course II, 3WBRC and Maine Motorcycle Safety Education Course (MMSEC), conducting and teaching the MSF RiderCoach Preparation Course and MMSEC Instructor Preparation Course, conducting and teaching professional development updates for all motorcycle rider education instructors, planning and performing annual inspections of all sites/ranges/motorcycles and conducts investigations of alleged violations, negligence and incompetence. Work is performed independently with limited supervision.
Four years experience as a Certified RiderCoach Trainer (as issued by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation).
In addition, you must attach with the application, proof of a High School Diploma or equivalent certificate and proof of a Motorcycle Safety Foundation, RiderCoach Trainer certification.
