Alonzo Frost Transcript

Lewiston Daily Evening Journal, April 23, 1863
At 3 o’clock P.M., on the 17th, Alonzo G. Frost of Little River, (Lisbon,) a member of Capt. Nye’s company, died in the Regimental Hospital, of typhoid fever. The Capt. had his body embalmed, and by an unanimous vote of the company it will be sent to his widowed mother. The age of the young man was 21 years. He was wounded at Cedar Mountain. Capt. Nye speaks in the highest terms of him.
